Note to Our Elected Officials: Democracy Won
“It’s been a long and trying year. We’re enduring a global pandemic. People are struggling. And no matter where they fall on the political spectrum, they look to their elected officials to help make things right. We call on you to unite with legislators and tell the people of your district the truth. Do your duty to help them move on. Democracy won."

SUSSEX DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE CALLS OUT OROHO, SPACE AND WIRTHS
On Tuesday, January 11, 2021, business under the golden dome in Trenton went on like any other day. On this day, a bill was on the Senate floor for a vote. The bill in question was simple: A condemnation of the President and the rioters who stormed the capitol, looted the people’s house and left Capitol Police Officer Sicknick bludgeoned to death. Oroho won't give up on Reaganomics
George H.W. Bush called Ronald Reagan’s theories “voodoo economics” and Reagan’s own budget director, David Stockman, also not exactly a flaming liberal, debunked “supply-side” or “trickle-down” economics as a pipe dream.

And despite effects of those policies turning out to be as helpful to working people as unicorns flying over rainbows, GOP legislators continue to insist shifting more people’s money to fewer rich people is the tide that raises all boats.

Sussex County Republicans vote against candidate transparency
As evidence by the fact that Donald Trump not only got elected, but months into his presidency the American people still know nothing about where his financial interests lie, the bulk of the GOP thinks its no big deal if the U.S.’s top executives have interests that conflict with the good of the nation—possibly including even large debts to hostile governments. Count Sussex County’s own trio of GOP representatives to the State House among them.

Mr. Gas Tax Argument Falls Apart
Senator Oroho’s plan to provide the funding needed for New Jersey’s roads and bridges was built upon a scheme to shift that financial burden from New Jersey’s wealthiest citizens to those who have long commutes. Recent reports show that Oroho’s claims to support his position were bogus.
